Efteling News Opening of the new ride Danse Macabre, Grand Hotel Update, Aquanura News and more

Welcome back to our monthly Efteling news roundup! 🌟 November brings some exciting updates, sneak peeks, and fresh attractions across the park. Here’s what’s happening this month:

🏰 Fantasierijk: The Grand Hotel’s majestic dome is now up! Meanwhile, Aquanura gets an update with “Beacons of Light” and some frog adjustments, and Fabula’s rock features are receiving a beautiful restoration. And don’t miss Polle’s new seasonal pancakes!

🌳 Sprookjesbos: Hansel and Gretel’s house will reopen even earlier than expected on November 21, and foundations are being laid for a new feature at the Princess and the Pea.

πŸš‚ Marerijk: While train rides are temporarily paused for repairs, we’re expecting the first electric train in a matter of weeks! Plus, both the First Aid station and Suikerhuys have been given fresh updates. Look out for the new Jan van Halsteren puzzle themed around Droomvlucht, arriving in mid-November!

🎈 Reizenrijk: Jokie and Jet’s balloon finds a new spot, and the Vogel Rok ride had some trouble. Oh, and Kashba now follows safety guidelines with a stripped-down look.

πŸ”₯ Ruigrijk: There’s a new water refill point near Joris en de Draak, perfectly themed as a medieval halberd! And get ready for maintenance on Python from November 25–29.

🎩 Anderrijk: The grand opening of the new Efteling ride Danse Macabre is here! What an amazing attraction. Tons of souvenirs are now available, and a new Holle Bolle Gijs has joined the family at Danse Macabre, with another beloved character remembered. Plus, check out the new head feature over Cascada and the newly placed smoking area between Baron and Huyverwoud.

🌍 World of Efteling: The Efteling app will now alert you about sensory stimuli around the park. And mark your calendars for January 1, when “Ter Land, Ter Zee” will be filmed in the dark with themed carts for New Year’s resolutions! Other theme parks are buzzing too! Safaripark Beekse Bergen is building a unique area for meerkats and bat-eared foxes, set to open before year-end. Stay tuned for all these updates and more.
