Welcome to our latest Efteling news update! This month, there's a lot happening in the park, from exciting openings to major renovations and new developments.
Fantasierijk The Efteling Wonder Hotel is making progress! We take a sneak peek inside before its summer opening, and admire the beautiful decorative elements on the building. A new "5 Senses Island" is under construction, featuring a water element.The Efteldingen souvenir shop is being expanded, and a temporary souvenir shop is now open. Renovations continue on parkland areas, enhancing the overall experience.
Sprookjesbos (Fairytale Forest) The Witch from Hansel & Gretel had her last evening in the park. Updates on the Princess and the Pea attraction are underway. The Little Red Riding Hood sign has returned to its place.
Marerijk The Steam Carousel will be closed from February 11. The Raveleijn show remains closed until March 28.
Ruigrijk Rumors suggest drop towers might be added near Baron 1898! A new shaded area has been installed at Joris en de Draak, making it more accessible for disabled visitors. A permit has been requested to expand the exit of this area. The Python rollercoaster will be closed on February 11. The Flying Dutchman is closed until April 17.
Reizenrijk The price of hot drinks has increased, with coffee now costing €3.40, including deposit. The Carnaval Festival booklet has been removed from sale due to stereotypes.
Anderrijk A new DMC experience for disabled visitors is in development, including ghost and wind effects! On quieter days, DMC will run at half capacity. 13-minute wait times are now an option. Playing cards are back at DMC. Dr. Charlatan's shop has discounted merchandise due to many sold-out items. The Piranha ride is closed until March 28. The Danse Macabre soundtrack is now available on Spotify!
Efteling World Updates A new model of Raveleijn has been spotted at the office. Work continues on the Efteling Hotel renovations. Hints suggest a new suite at the Wonder Hotel, replacing the Circus Suite, which is no longer bookable after reopening.
